Adam Duckworth: Award-winning editorial photographer, writer, editor and publisher with more than 20 years professional experience


Adam Duckworth started his photographic career shooting motocross racing for a variety of motorcycle magazines around the world. It's role he continues to this day. He's worked for Motor Cycle News (MCN), Motocross Action, Dirt Rider, Dirt Bike Rider, Cycle World, Motocross Rider, Performance Bikes, Ride, Classic Bike and many more.

His editorial work has allowed him to travel the world and build up a sizeable body of personal work. From reportage in the streets of New York to the majestic landscape glory of Yosemite National Park, from candid moments caughts in old-town Sorrento in Italy to pictorial treatment of classic car and bike rallies. And, of course, portraits and contemporary wedding photography. He shoots exclusively for AbFab Photography.

Adam won a national Canon-sponsored photographic award in 1997, and exhibited his winning entry in the V&A Museum. His editorial work has seen him win three awards from the periodical Publishers Association and in 2007 an award for the Web marketing Association. He's been shortlisted five times for BSME Editor of the Year award.

His latest accolades are being named the 2007 Commercial Photographer of the Year and a finalist in the Ricoh International photo competition which was exhibited in Tokyo, Japan, in September 2007.

He's a member of the Royal Photographic Society and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and lectures in advanced photography.

His editorial work has also featured in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, ZOO, Golf World, Today's Golfer, Mountain Bike Action,Cycling Plus, Rally Car and Skate Action, among others.
